Step 3: Create Your Profile

Now that your blog is up, let's tell people a little bit about yourself. From the Overview page, click on the arrow on the far right side of the page. (If you've already set up a Google+ profile, you'll see your info here)

Here is some of the information you gave Google when you got your Gmail address. This is your profile for the wonderful world of Blogger, this is NOT what will appear on your home page of your blog.

Profile tells the world about who you are and what you're about. You can upload a photo of yourself (or Brad Pitt), tell about your interests, give your location & occupation. Decide what you want to share but when you're new to the blogosphere, less is more.

Click Edit Profile and share to your heart's content. You can change this whenever the mood strikes.

One of the most helpful things to have here is a photo of yourself. (If you're not familiar with this, you can do it later. If you have a computer-savvy friend, ask them to help)

Once you finish making changes, be sure to click "Done Editing" or "Save Profile."
